Convinced that all these people Moynihan has dinner with are his imaginary friends and Matt and Kmele just politely indulge in the delusion.

"I was having dinner with a friend of mine who I won't name, but is well known among all of us, is wrong about everything but is very smart...."

He's talking about himself.

The Moynihan dinner stories are sounding more and more like Trump’s “Sir” stories.

These Moynihan digs are hilarious. Having said that, I’m a big Moynihan fan.

Why doesn't Trump try to accomplish anything legislatively? Well, that's easy - because he doesn't believe in it. He believes in the strongest executive power within (or without) the bounds of the law, and he doesn't give a toss about the legislature.

Also passing laws is hard. It requires a lot of time spent pushing congress to do it. He is too lazy and never wants to have to beg.

I need to finish the episode so maybe this comes up, but I am struggling to care about Trump's new press being toadies while watching the Jake Tapper "shocked to find gambling here" tour.

Meanwhile, those who were aghast at Obama‘s "apology tour" and his reneging on the red lines in Syria have nothing to say about Trump‘s speech and empty threats to Hamas.

And while indulging in whataboutism, can you guys at least acknowledge that the the corruption of Trump 2 we are witnessing is several orders of magnitude more serious than its run-of-the-mill precedents, even Trump 1?

sorry Moynihan. The American President's association and priority are American citizens. Whether the Israeli govt is involved or uninvolved, matters NOT A WHIT and Matt, MBS has proven their critics "mostly" wrong. (btw Mohammed, son of Salman, would easily win a democratic election if one were held, and it wouldn't be remotely close.) I agree with later points/comments

Qatar sees the damage done to Hamas by infiltration of the pager supply chain, scales it up to jet airplane size... by all means give this thing directly to the Trump family.

I would hate to be the guy who has to explain to Trump that his “Golden Dome“ is not really made of gold.

I just wanted to say thank you for the Trump comedy skit. Worth the price of subscription a thousand fold.
