Hi Laura. I haven't used iCloud Photos but will see if I can make it work. I was in Iron Mountain once, over 30 years ago. Flew up to do consulting work at a sawmill in the vicinity but was only there to make observations during one shift of operation. The second shift, so it was pitch dark when I left the mill in my rental car to drive to my motel. Crazy number of deer on the road after dark! Flew out the next day, so didn't see much of the town. Would love to come back, since it's on my bucket list to see a Great Gray Owl!
Thank you! We’ve definitely got owls. And loons, turkeys, eagles, herons….. too many deer, cause the kids don’t hunt like they used to. Come on up anytime we’ve got plenty of beer!
Good God Matt. The walk off music had me in a puddle. I think it might be 3 weeks in a row where I am sobbing after reading Firehose. Somehow this week it feels cathartic. While I am a moderate conservative, (not MAGA) this week may turn me into a fundamentalist Christian. I truly feel despair over this assassination of a man engaging in legitimate political discourse and helping young people think through contentious issues. Discussing complicated issues has been disappearing from Colleges for quite some time-clearly. Love Eli, the 5th and anyone willing to earnestly engage.
Woah! I was also at that Honda Center Stones show in 2013! It was a big deal for me, having grown up with my dad who has seen them 20+ times over the years. I was 15, and it was only my 3rd concert ever! It also happened to be the first time I ever got a little tipsy — thanks to my cousin passing me her drink all night!! It all gets a little fuzzy after John Mayer. I now regret not being a little more clearheaded for the Mick Taylor appearances! :)

Being a Yooper is 100% CONUS Frontier. That’s not to say there aren’t other places like that in the lower 48, but it really is an amazing place. I entertained buying 300 acres up there, but circumstances caused me to look elsewhere.
If you don’t mind, could you share some photos of the Bar you mentioned? I’m sure there others who would also like to see it!
You betcha! Our fave snowmobile bar is Saloon No.2, where we meet our general contractor every Thursday. He drinks PBR with a shake of salt before every sip. Pretty sure he has had a few before we get there, and he downs 2 or 3 while we meet. But I have to admit that house is solid and 100% up to specs….
