While North American Gen X has lived down to our slacker stereotype, Machado (b. 1967) and Milei (b. 1970) are demonstrating that Latin American Gen X have all of our generation's cojones. Hard to believe that Machado and Gavin Newsom were born just three days apart, and that we in the North got stuck with the latter.

I couldn't last watching the Australian recruitment video for more than 20 seconds.

Good Lord the sheer smallness of some of these Trump groupies. (Perhaps some MAGA-friendly folks here in the Fifdom would now remind me of similar or worse examples from the Dem side of the fence, and fire away--they're not my team either).

And at first I thought "the unshuttupable Moynihan" was "the unshtuppable Moynihan." Probably according to some new YouTube commenters, but word 'round the chat is that some of these surely protest too much.

While watching the Australian Armed Forces video I was wondering how Moynihan would compare it to a hypothetical IDF Female Recruiting video.

Is it not entirely premature to make the determination that this deal will be lasting (given the history) and that it is worthy of a Nobel for the man in orange? And are we supposed to be annoyed with Machado winning the Nobel!? Good lord.

Thinking about retirement living destinations. I think I will avoid Flagellatia. Sadly, I can't find any listings on Redfin or Zillow for properties located in Fellatia.

Legend has it that there was once an effort to merge the communities of Flagellatia and Fellatia, but the community council gave the person leading that project such a tongue lashing that he never brought it up again.

Trump is crybaby. And the ceasefire was just announced. The Nobel committee gets nominations and reviews them in advance. Maybe Trump will get it next year. He has a legit case if this peace actually holds. I suspect he's too toxic, though.

The (increasingly lame) Nobel Prize just awarded is for efforts in 2024.

For a really smart woman MK can really say some dumb stuff.

Maybe those wretched reactives, including talking heads Megyn and the utterly vapid Batya, complaining about the Nobel not going to Trump should see if this peace sticks first. If it does, they will have a much stronger case next year (though I suspect the Nobel committee would award it him over their dead bodies... even if they recognize Middle East peace, they'll find a way to award it to someone or something else).

All the losers braying about Trump not winning the Nobel mocked Obama for it over a decade ago, spare me the crocodile tears.

I understand MK’s reax to the Nobel, but the deliberation was probably before the Gaza success.

For the next go-around, he’s gotta hope Russia-Ukraine gets resolved, and that .vz stats kinda stable.

I’m not holding my breath there. If the ops in intl waters don’t cook something off, they might return to Guyana.
