For those who really enjoy baseball, and that is 2 of the 3 hosts, Curt Schilling on his you tube channel The Complete Game, had an episode last week where he interviewed retired MLB umpire Tim Tschida. It was a great interview, very informative. No politics, just baseball. I highly recommend it.
Curt is a smart guy who has great knowledge about baseball and especially pitching.
OTOH, how did MM feel sitting at a table with two conspiracy theorists, one of who is somewhat less crazy than Candace Owens, but still a nut. MM was remarkably restrained, but I can only imagine how much liquor he had to drink after that.
I recently had a Welchian Step-on-Snek moment. While carpooling with old friends to a show at the Hollywood Bowl, I insisted that Brandi Carlile was the lead singer of The Go-Go's. I was so confidently persistent, too, that I nearly had the whole car convinced. Then someone decided to Google-check me. It's so humbling being a middle-aged man in the time of smart phones.
I'm comforted to learn I'm not the only idiot to confuse the two.
Kind of a Matt Welch/Walsh thing going on. While not a public figure, I can sympathize. For 25 years, my colleague (Peter Morse) and I have been receiving each other's emails and telephone messages.
Hmmm Flappers being within walking distance from my house......I should go, I do have to walk by The Blue Room to get there so I might get distracted.... This weeks Real Time was a nice surprise, 1 Micheal was on with someone other than a D that doesn't shut up, I have to say MTG was not what I expected Her to be (Or what Bill thought its seems) Also I too found myself agreeing with Her to my sunrise (Not unlike Micheal) and it was good to see a Sam Haris type like Bill (So wealthy they don't have to actually live with the idiocy they keep voting for like newsom) to admit they don't understand ACA (Don;t have to) and was amazed that he was being told it doesn't work for middle class people, simple stuff really. 2 guests that finally mention that if you are making over what the subsidies allow ($60 k in CA BTW, I want to try and live on $60k in LA) you are thrown to the wolves. Meanwhile Bill gets his sweet SAG union INs.
"Moonbase Alpha" This is another reason I love you guys!!! if it weren't for the fact I'll be on the east coast for Thanksgiving I'd have looked forward to seeing you in Burbank
Next to MW in the split screen, (Lady Lydia) Moynihan jumped in after MW's first clip with the number of workers and military members waiting for money, directing the story away from SNAP/Trump, and back to the Dems demanding this shutdown. MW laughed--I wonder if he was impressed?
The comment of the week was a cheap ploy to guilt me out of commenting on the worst season of the year, Welch Beard Season.
This one will be short-lived, alas.
Boo! Free the beard!
Nooooo
The one area TNB and I get violent over.
I could take you
Booooooo. Matt’s beard rocks!
Take. That. Back! Bearded Matt is a top 3 Matt.

Where are the betting markets on whether Moynihan and MTG hooked up?
I smell a joke about Irish space lasers that result in burning bushs.
Great chemistry. Get her on the pod!

I bet you she's sung "We Got the Beat" tho....
Guess not, but still!

how do i get an 'i love melania' mug?
Ok this pic of our Three Musketeers begs the question: Who is taller, Moynihan or Kmele?😉

I always find it amusing when left and right exchange well-worn talking points with such vigor.
