I have a self hosted recipe manager, and, if you actually turn this into a thing I could spin up a new instance for saving any recipes that got used like a culinary version of the walkoff playlist. Although the software is open source, so anyone else could also do it (if anyone is interested for their own uses and is somewhat technically minded: https://mealie.io/ , I can highly recommend)
We have been watching The West Wing on Netflix. I never saw it when it was originally broadcast. The cast is great, the script is good, the politics absolutely suck. It is fun to see actors who were so much younger then.
One interesting thing about the politics (this is early Bush 43 era). The Bartlet (it bothers me to see that with one t) administration defending free trade and trying to put together a blue ribbon bipartisan committee to reform Social Security. If only.
Also, in light of the excellent podcast with the great Jack Henneman (he should always be referred to as "the great") Paul Revere is featured in one episode where it is revealed that Jed Bartlet owns a chef's knife crafted by Revere himself.
Jason, The Lure looks like a great find! The imprimatur of Janus Films at the start of the trailer gives it an air of respectability or at least notoriety to "lure" in the cinephile. Coincidentally, the most recent Substack of the Global Psychotronic Film Society <https://wreckingcrewdirector.substack.com> was entitled "Meet Yutte Stensgaard, one beautiful bisexual vampire in HAMMER'S LUST FOR A VAMPIRE." That and The Lure might make a good double feature for Movie Night. I'm looking forward to whatever other outré films are in your collection.

Still not a cult, tho 😁
We need a Fif Cooking Club. I’ll figure out the details when it’s not 1am after I’ve had three glasses of wine.
Oh hello

New England folks: we occasionally do meetups around here, too, and I can put you on The List if you reach out.
Transplanted new Mainer here, via NYC/LA. Sign me up.

My sister was the biggest Little Mermaid fan growing up, I can't wait to terrorize her with The Lure's trailer
Anyone interested in a Chicago Meetup club?
I can’t wait to watch all these!
I love the new Revolutionaries! series, and I also love that I immediately recognized Cabeza de Vaca as Head of the Cow (thanks Duolingo)
