Michael and Colby both are missing the mark. There was a violation of the First Amendment - Don Lemon and the other anti-ICE insurrectionists violated the First Amendment of the worshippers. The church is private property, the worshippers were filmed terrified, and the anti-ICE insurrectionists were told to leave. The complaint even mentions worshippers were prevented from leaving. Journalists forget that the first clause in the First Amendment is the freedom to practice religion. Correction, they haven’t forgotten; they just don’t care.

IRL it was an Army officer of Ukrainian heritage doing a rotation on the NSC who was appalled that Trump was trying to bully Zelenski into starting investigation into Biden's son-or claiming one existed even if it didn't- so Trump could use claim in 2020 campaign. Zelenski's failure to do so and the impeachment related to that attempted blackmail of Zelenski is why Trump is letting Russia slaughter 100s of thousands of Ukrainians. Also why Trump will always side with Russia. That impeachment was the JUSTIFIED effect of trying to blackmail a world leader into lying for you so you could win the Presidency is not a thought that could even enter Trump's head. It's always somebody else's fault to Trump. And there is never a shortage of useful idiots like Lewandowski that relentless lypush the "poor Donnie, he's so persecuted" narrative.
Re Colby: the only nice thing he could say about trump was that he "restrained the bloodthirsty Jews from attacking Iran' after the ceasefire went into effect. After all, the last Iranian strike caused no damage and was no big deal" (rough paraphrase). 5 people DIED. At least a basij headquarters wasn't destroyed.....
Moltbook is actually potentially interesting and kind of freaky, but I haven’t yet seen any reliable reporting on how much the content is still being prompted by humans behind the scenes vs emerging from bot-on-bot interactions. If it’s the former (and I suspect it is) then it’s within the realm of things we’ve seen before. If it’s the latter then it seems like some genuinely new territory (e.g. if the bots are sharing and implementing ways to improve their own performance absent direct prompting from humans). We’ll see.
Regardless, the newest AI agents are impressive. For the love of God, don’t give it root access.
