I agree that Willie Nelson is well loved. A very lefty guy politically, but he gets a pass from most folks. He has recorded a homophobic anthem (Aint Going down on Brokeback Mountain) and one that does the other way (Cowboys are Frequently Secretly fond of Each Other). Not many seemed to give him grief for either song.
I don’t know if the kids appreciate Red Headed Stranger in the way they should. Dolly also is just better on camera and in interviews and just turning herself in an industry in general. Her spiritual The Seeker has been jammin’ in my head all week.
Also go see Rocky Horror. And bring a rubber glove.
We, the true Conservatives who know most fully the dangers of Donald Trump, pledge that we will vote for you to stop him. We even participated in that weird thing where people pretended that Kamala was the first of God's creations to supersede Him and to look on her directly was to risk blindness.
In return for our support, we will demand that you govern in a centrist way we'd be very happy to advise you on should you wish to hire our services.
Should you inevitably ignore our demands, we will have no choice but to vote for you. Again, let us be clear, there is nothing you can do to lose our vote short of losing our number.
Rocky Horror fan wife spent a good part of the weekend streaming his portfolio. Empathic shrug, but she’s grown to love “Clue,” which she’d never seen when we started dating. I know you don’t get my Go-Go’s affinity, but Jane Wiedlin has a minor role….
We’ve been together for more than twenty years, and still have seen a movie together in a theater. HTF have we managed that?
Again, Shat was great.
Bulwark drama again shows how unserious the TDS crowd are. Okay, Krystol beat the Uber driver from Auburn at The SoHo Forum. And? Doesn’t mean the party of Woodrow Wilson is the answer.
The Shatner interview was all-time. Praying for that kind of energy 60 years from now

Neil Diamond should be on that list.
If you haven't yet, you should really look up the cast for Red Alert 3. It was unreasonably stacked for a video game. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1198194/?_ssoLoop=1&ref_=ext_shr_lnk
I watched it with a HS girlfriend, and I still haven’t watched it. It’s ok Matt…
That was and remains the way to watch - and not watch - that movie, and as I fondly remember, Brewster's Millions
No mentions of Danny DeVito? We loves him.

I am amazed that, while not naturally American, Shat doesn't top the list.
Agreed. There is an irony to Shatner's omission. He makes more sense to me than any of those listed.

For women, anyway
Dear Democrats,
We, the true Conservatives who know most fully the dangers of Donald Trump, pledge that we will vote for you to stop him. We even participated in that weird thing where people pretended that Kamala was the first of God's creations to supersede Him and to look on her directly was to risk blindness.

Should you inevitably ignore our demands, we will have no choice but to vote for you. Again, let us be clear, there is nothing you can do to lose our vote short of losing our number.
Sincerely,
Sarah Longwell
Obligatory additional mention of the late, great Peter Cullen.
The art theater in LB has midnight showings of RHPS. You should think about going to one when you're in town sometime. It's a thing.
Finally years of wasting my life on youtube pay off. Thanks for the shout out

Morgan Freeman
That missing poster is classic...every item made me laugh.
