Aah it's beautiful to see my madness on display 😂 and Matt Welch, yours is coming as soon as I figure out a rhyme scheme that does not lean on "Welch" as the key word
Matt, as you were talking about now being able to see the mountains from Long Beach, I was reminiscing about growing up in Center City Philadelphia in the 50's and 60's. There was a device one block from City Hall that I passed every day that monitored lead level in the air. No need for that now. Also, white paint was still lead based. Oral thermometers used mercury. Best of all, we had real chemistry sets courtesy of Gilbert. I loved those things, but the chemicals any kid has access to weren't the safest. Maher is willing to ignore reality to make a point.
I can’t decide what I love more this week —Kmele most recent rejoinder or Arch’s animation. I’m gonna call it a tie. Thank you Matt for another excellent firehouse!
As a native Clevelander born in the 70s not long after the river literally caught fire, I can attest to the fact that our area of the world is much cleaner now.
Thank you! I could not remember who you interviewed about the concerning state of “men”. I’ve found myself wanting to share it recently but didn’t even know what I was looking for.
I always used to think it was funny reading things by people like Abraham Lincoln that implied “idleness” was a man’s greatest danger, but now I’m starting to understand. There is nothing new under the sun.
Pfft. The disability stuff is tough. As a guy whose next milestone birthday is 50, that I’m just about to get on _private_ disability it’s strange. My well-paying job is coming to an end, my wife now out-earns me, and legitimately I physically cannot work the way I have.
I feel ashamed over it.
At the same time, my dad and his brothers all didn’t see 60.
Sam Harris and Michael Moynihan. My life is complete.
When "One final point on this" meets "Let's unpack that"
.....
We all win.
I'm like "now do the podcast!"

Lots of good words rhyme with Grich.
Rhyming dilemma solved!
"A noise rock ode to Matt Welch's glasses, produced by Steve Albini's much less talented second cousin Steve Alboni"

Ooooooo Matt Welch’s Glasses. Oooooo.
Yup gonna be stuck in my head all weekend

Matt! You’re on fire lately! Yet another most excellent firehose. I’m drowning in entertaining video content.

Good on you, Nika 💜

The mind reels after what T-Word may have been discussed
The term use in Japan is NEET, Not Employed, or Education Track. NILF has terrible connotations 😂.
Met Ethan Suplee at a con yesterday, and he vouches for his good friend Michael.
Fun fact: Ethan was a partial witness to the Second Battle of Batya!
I have a photo op with him this afternoon. I'll have to ask about that!

I am glad that you all still get along with Batys after that -- I am also glad that Moynihan stopped her in her tracks for "Mao Mao-ing".
That’s the cutest graphic ever!
Are the Two-Way conversations available in audio/podcast format anywhere?
First result on Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-moynihan-report/id1804367369
Thank you for posting this!
Thanks I'm dumb. Was searching two-way and 2-way
Glad it’s not just me…
Thanks for asking this!
They should have it linked in the description of their videos but for some reason they don’t.
I have subbed on Overcast. Which has 100x better UI than Apple Podcasts by the way.
Cool. I've been using pocketcasts for nearly a decade. It's great

Awesome. Now I can subscribe to Moynihan without also seeing Sean Spicer's stupid face showing up in my feed every day.
