As I've rambled about previously, my husband and I treated our parents to "Mike Love Presents: The Beach Boys" about a year ago at a local venue (bad wine, pretty good beer) and it was a blast. I was surprised and thrilled by how many kids I saw there. Viva Beach Boys!!!
Well unfortunately for Padilla, Israel bombed Iran, taking the wind out the news cycle he was hoping to ride. It did bring me back to Randy Macho Man Savage crashing press conferences back in the WWF days, but Mach Man seemed more sincere.
Very generous description of Padilla’s theater kid publicity stunt. He wasn’t trying to “ask questions,”he was trying to get arrested for the cameras and he accomplished his goal.
I'm sure he wanted to make a scene, but he apparently didn't need to do much to get manhandled out of a public press conference, thrown to the floor, and cuffed. He certainly didn't "lunge" at anyone and I'm a little more concerned that the Head of Homeland Security is talking about "liberating" Los Angeles.
I listened to the Moynihan Report with Brace Belden... Based solely on that interview, I don't get why this guy is a thing. He's comes off as an over-confident confused juvenile. He's a self avowed "selfish Marxist". Perhaps I will listen to TrueAnon but, more likely, I will not.
Also, he called Stephen Hawking Stephen Hawkins. Kmele surely cringed at this as I did if he listened as well!
These no kings protestors are just fascinating. Since this is a protest against Trump, I will say that they are hard core democrats. My questions to them would be,
1. have you read the recent ‘original sin’ book on how your president from 2020 - 2024 was mia and it was hidden from you?
2. You were ok with basically a cabal of people forcing out who you voted to represent your party and then without any input from you ‘elected’ Harris to represent you?
3. You were ok with Biden basically choosing his vp based solely on the sex and skin color? I would classify this as an example #1 of the serious dangers of DEI. It set your party up for failure in 2024 and you complain about ‘no king’?
