Solid recommend for "Seconds" ! The often over lit / high contrast black and white is amazing to take in. A great late night movie watch

Was a great week from you fellas as one of the Few sources I still follow, Glad Nick is back at Reason (Since his opposite Walter Kirn is missing from Racket I was going through withdrawal of sarcastic/conspiratorial intelligent points of view) and great shows from you gents here and the other outlets you 3 (mostly 2) appear and host. Most unfortunate that Maher (who did what I Predicted weeks ago the media would do) and had the fraud Lemon on his show and treated him like he was some kind of journalist. (I also predicted a book deal that I haven't seen yet announced) and that wet lipped pill headed moron shiftless siting next to him. Now I assume the worst of all newsom will be a guest soon to talk about His book and broken brain and why that makes him he's a great leader... and Maher will drool and agree and coddle his balls as usual. We never have to worry about you guys pulling those kind of ball coddling interviews. We all Appreciate that...

Thanks for keeping me sane! Gonna put in a request for Karim Sadjanpour here and leave you alone. He’s in DC but worth doing remote. https://x.com/ksadjadpour

Ok, maybe I wasn't paying enough attention, but, since I'm not familiar with Hooman Majd's work....what was the insane view supposed to be? I mean, sure he was less critical of the regime than many people but he certainly wasn't (at least so it seemed to me) *supportive* of them.

I actually came away from the episode feeling like I hadn't learned very much of anything, because I don't recall him making any concrete claims about very much.

Pretty solid case against the war and admin that doesn’t flirt with anti-American propaganda, and that’s increasingly rare these days, whether people are aware that’s what they’re doing or if they’re just so enraged that they don’t catch they’re trafficking falsehoods.

Not that I’d expect otherwise but just articulating my appreciation.

I wish the second Sunday window was predictable. I'm easy, but not like Sunday morning easy.

Why are second Sunday recordings not released afterward?

If it runs for an hour and forty minutes, and I can listen to it, how can it be a lost episode?

It had been lost. We used the arrival of the Patreon to exhume past episodes that for whatever reason fell through the cracks.

My annual TFC subscription renews today and I'm glad to be here. But I'm already backing away from "news and analysis" of the war with Iran, not only here but at many other outlets.

We know that initial reports of almost anything controversial are likely to be incomplete at best, or misleading or substantially wrong later on. In the environment of war, that goes double or more.

I can't listen to or read everything that's coming, it's like a Firehose! Heh. ;-) I listened to 10 minutes of #547 and decided, "nope, don't need to hear any more", but I appreciate the comments there that found it valuable. It was not for me.

TFC analysis of a war every 2 or 3 days is just not going to be reliable or useful, TO ME. I'd prefer a higher level analysis of actual facts and trends at much less frequent intervals. I realize that's a lot to ask.

Thank you for what you do, that's why I'm here for another year.

Daylight Savings. Can you believe it’s already upon us?

Hahah the questioning face was regarding whether the PTB remember it 😂
